  • National Basketball League

    Cloudmix is central in the broadcast of over 1,100 NBL1 basketball games this season. Single camera streams from 100s of venues across Australia are received by Cloudmix servers, where graphics and image slates are added.

    Quality control, monitoring and troubleshooting all happen off-site, and high quality streams are sent to multiple output destinations - streams for fans via an OTT, as well as streams for highlight clipping.

    The Match of the Round each week features 3 cameras streamed to Cloudmix, and pulled down for off-site switching of a high quality program output. No vision switcher on site, and a terrific end-product delivered to fans.

  • Melbourne Digital Concert Hall

    Launched on 27 March 2020, we presented 233 live streamed concerts in our first nine months, generating $1,000,000 in income for musicians and arts sector workers who’d lost everything through COVID-19.

    The MDCH run streams via Cloudmix, enabling remote high quality remote productions. Camera feeds are usually switched via a local vision switcher (like a Blackmagic ATEM), and then streamed to Cloudmix. Cloudmix is used to add introduction videos, watermarks, as well as play out live crosses to introduce concerts.

    Cloudmix enables the MDCH team to maintain high quality streams - with the highest quality audio - while working with multiple production partners around Australia.
